Low Level Systems Engineer
About Me
A passionate systems engineer with a background in medical image classification using deep learning's U-net architectures and a solid foundation in low level system design focusing on the hardware/software interface while pursuing a degree in Medical Engineering.
Background
-
I am a fifth year student of Medical Engineering at Technical University of Mombasa. My skillset encompasses deep learning architectures and compilers, compiler design targeting modern architectures with given parrallelism, circuit analysis and embedded systems.
-I am currently at Zone01 Kisumu where I'm a Software Developer Apprentice with a focus on Machine Learning Systems.

Featured Projects
pliron-circt
Dialect ecosystem for pliron, retaining parity with LLVM CIRCT / MLIR hardware IR. Implements hw (structural netlists and modules), comb (combinational logic), seq (clocked state and registers), and sv (SystemVerilog emission) dialects in Rust.
ksm-rs
Port of Kisumu Lang to Rust. A custom programming language compiler and runtime engine featuring tokenization, an abstract syntax tree (AST) parser, type checking, and native execution.
wrap-burn
Python wrapper and ergonomic bindings for the Burn deep learning framework in Rust. Brings high-performance native tensor operations and neural network primitives to Python scripts.
